Bluebell Legal Appoints Samuel Taremwa as Equity Partner to Strengthen Dispute Resolution, Quality Assurance and Technology Leadership
Bluebell Legal Advocates is pleased to announce the admission of Samuel Taremwa to the Partnership of the firm, effective January 2026.
Samuel is one of the firm’s leading practitioners and has played a significant role in the continued growth and success of Bluebell Legal Advocates. His appointment recognises his outstanding contribution to the firm, his commitment to clients, and the leadership he has demonstrated throughout his career.
A highly respected advocate, Samuel has built a strong practice advising and representing clients in complex disputes, strategic commercial matters, and high-value transactions. He is recognised for combining technical legal excellence with commercial insight, enabling clients to navigate risk, resolve disputes, and pursue opportunities with confidence.
Samuel has acted for clients at every level of Uganda’s superior courts, including the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Uganda. He has advised on matters involving significant commercial, regulatory, and reputational exposure and is trusted by clients to manage their most complex and business-critical challenges.
In addition to his disputes practice, Samuel advises businesses, investors, and corporate boards on governance, risk management, and commercial strategy. His ability to bridge contentious and advisory work has made him a valued adviser to clients across a broad range of sectors.
As a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Samuel continues to develop a growing arbitration and alternative dispute resolution practice, reflecting the increasing demand for sophisticated dispute resolution solutions in the region.
In his new role, Samuel will serve as Head of Litigation and Quality Assurance and will lead the firm’s Technology and Innovation function. He will continue to play a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, strengthening client relationships, advancing service excellence, and driving innovation across the business.
