Knowing that your privacy is important to us, we take all reasonable measures in accordance with this privacy policy to protect your personal information as envisaged in the Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019.

Bluebell Legal Advocates (hereinafter referred to as “us” or “we”), located at Plot 3A, Bata Close, 5th Street Industrial Area-Bugolobi Kampala is a full-service commercial law firm, duly registered under the laws of Uganda and duly licensed and regulated by the Law Council of Uganda.

  1. Bluebell Legal Advocates respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your privacy or personal information as defined in the Data Protection and Privacy Act.

However, you indemnify Bluebell Legal Advocates against any loss, damage or expense including interest and penalties suffered or incurred by any consultant of Bluebell Legal Advocates due to your provision of personal information of a third party or parties to us in an unlawful manner.

  1. Special or sensitive personal information as defined in law including information about your health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs and trade union memberships, your genetic and biometric information and information about your sex life.

This is automatically collected data or information obtained when using our services. This data or information may include;

  1. Your devices IP address, browser types, version, pages of our sites visited, time and date of your visit, time spent on our sites among others.
  2. When accessing our sites by use of mobile device, we may collect data regarding your mobile device unique ID, the mobile IP address, operating system, type of mobile internet browser used among other data.
  3. We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.
  4. Still and video images captured by our CCTV at our offices, we use CCTV to help provide a safe and secure environment and you may be recorded when you visit our offices.

Bluebell Legal Advocates may in certain cases share your personal data with third parties within the firm, only when necessary for the fulfilment of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

When we provide your data to third parties, we enter into a processor agreement to provide the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Bluebell Legal Advocates shall not sell or offer for sale  personal data of any person.
